Rules Of The Room

How To Play

Learn the roles, the nightly order, the vote rules, and the win conditions before the room turns on itself.

Roles

Killer

Silence the guests one by one. Avoid suspicion and eliminate everyone before the investigation concludes.

Doctor

You have the power to save lives... or end them. Each night, choose a player to protect from the Killer, or use your one-time poison to eliminate a threat.

Detective

The truth is hidden in plain sight. Each night, investigate one player to determine if they are a Killer. Trust no one, but use your intel wisely.

Psycho

You are a wildcard. You side with the civilians, but your death is just as dangerous. If you are voted out, you have 15 seconds to take someone down with you.

Civilian

You have no special power, only instinct, memory, and your vote. Watch the room, challenge every story, and survive long enough to expose the killers.

Core Rules

Killers can only target living non-killers.
The Doctor acts only after the killers lock a majority target.
The Doctor has one self-save for the entire match.
If the Doctor is targeted again after using that self-save, the Doctor gets no action that night.
The Doctor cannot change a submitted choice once it is made.
The Detective acts after the Doctor step finishes or is skipped.
The Detective cannot change a submitted inspection once it is made.
Dead players can watch, but they cannot act or vote.
Votes are public and preserved in the room’s vote history.
